Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a cultural Mexican holiday honoring family, both past and present.
Purpose Behind Play: Cultural exposure, social and emotional understanding, promoting open-ended art
Creativity City: Make a skull candy mask!
Little Explorers Planet: "Dia de los Muertos" Storytime at 2pm.
Grown-up Tip: Relate your traditions to those of other cultures so your child can make connections and see the similarities within each culture!
