Event Details
Hmong New Year comes to Merced every year. Celebrate the culture with weaving and activities!
Purpose Behind Play: Cultural exposure, social and emotional understanding, promoting open-ended art.
Creativity City: Make your own paj ntaub, a traditional Hmong textile cloth.
Grown-up Tip: Relate your traditions to those of other cultures so your child can make connections and see the similarities within each culture!
