Thursdays, March 5th through 26th, 5 to 7pm

Ages 8 to 13

This is what the program is all about:

• Learn STEAM elements through theater principals! 

• Create, collaborate, present!

• Kids will learn how to write a play, act & perform, costume and learn the works of behind-the-scenes roles of the theater all while learning and practicing STEAM! 

• Does your child love science? Theater? How about combining them both!

• Kids learn to speak comfortably in public and work in group settings! 

• Leadership in STEAM in practice! 

March Theme:

Choreography & Earth Science

STEAM Stage! is a dynamic, hands-on program where performing arts meet STEAM learning. In this month’s Choreography & Earth Sciences theme, students explore exciting topics like earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, and volcanoes while developing skills in movement, storytelling, stage presence, and emotional expression. Designed for ages 8–13, this creative, high-energy experience encourages collaboration, confidence, and curiosity as students learn to express scientific ideas through performance.

Every class will be divided into the following sections: 

1. Introduction to the class 

2. Introducing this week’s theater elements.

   1. Put it into practice!

3. Introducing this week’s STEAM elements.

   1. Put it into practice!

4. Group work time

   1. Each group will be assigned an intern to work with them on this week’s project. 

5. Performance 

   1. Perform your group work for the other group!
