Young Artists Academy - Cardboard Creations
Tuesdays from 5:30pm to 7pm
December 2nd, 9th, and 16th
Ages 8 to 13
Students will explore the world of art through creativity, imagination, and sustainability. In this module, students will transform ordinary cardboard into extraordinary 3D mixed-media art projects, including animal sculptures and hand puppets with moving parts.
Along the way, they will learn key art fundamentals such as texture, color theory, art styles, and working with different art mediums.
Students will also gain confidence in their presentation skills by sharing their creations and fun facts about the animals they chose. Through hands-on activities, they will discover the value of recycling and upcycling.
$10 per student for the first month of the program!
